Telly Awards

The Telly Awards honor the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and work created for the Web. Since 1978, our mission has been to strengthen the visual arts community by inspiring, promoting, and supporting creativity. The 28th Annual Telly Awards received over 14,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents.

Our place as a leader in the industry. Sinclair Institute has won over 15 nationally recognized awards. One of which being The Telly Award. This award honors the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. Started in 1978, their mission has been to strengthen the visual arts community by inspiring, promoting, and supporting creativity. The 27th Annual Telly Awards in 2006 received over 13,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents. These awards were designed by the same firm that makes the Oscar® and the Emmy®.

Sinclair has been a finalist in The New York Festivals. The New York Festivals International Film & Video Awards recognize "The World's Best Work" in informational, educational and industrial film productions and corporate video. The competition also covers short film, feature-length film and home videos. Now approaching its 50th anniversary, the Film & Video Awards sees entries from over 30 countries around the world.

Sinclair has received media awards from The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR). This organization was founded in 1938 and is the oldest, multi-disciplinary non-partisan professional organization focused solely on family research, practice and education. They provide an educational forum for family researchers, educators, and practitioners to share in the development and dissemination of knowledge about families and family relationships, establishes professional standards, and works to promote family well-being.

Sinclair films have received several Awards of Excellence from The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality. This is the oldest professional society dedicated to the advancement of knowledge about sexuality and was founded in 1957. It is a non-profit professional organization. Membership of the Society includes anthropologists, biologists, educators, historians, nurses, physicians, psychologists, sociologists, theologians, therapists, and many other disciplines. The Society has a strong commitment to "the next generation" through the support of a vigorous student membership program. The Society's award program recognizes professional excellence, public service and service to The Society.

Int’l Communications Film & Video Competition (INTERCOM) part of the Chicago Film Festival is now in its fourth decade and is the oldest competitive international film festival in the U.S. This competition was set up to honor those corporate & sponsored productions that the festival feels display ingenuity, creativity and enormous amounts of talent. Sinclair is a recipient of awards from this festival.
